Industrial Automation

Industrial automation is the manufacturing tool of the modern world. We have been involved with several aspects of control, ranging from Weighing and Packaging systems, Printing systems, (With or without registration), automotive industry, and many more. We will manufacture from top down design to finished product install, or re-furbish existing plant and machinery as required.

Servo Systems

Our involvement with servo systems is varied. Single or multi-axis, with or without position control. Specialising in Mitsubishi’s servo systems Q-Motion and FX-GM, we have a good deal of experience with the fault finding tools associated with these products.

Some of the applications that we have been involved in using these systems are Screen printing, High-speed bearing test rigs, Automotive production line control and Inductive furnaces.

PLC Systems

PLC’s are becoming ever faster and more versatile in their evolvement. We use PLC control for projects both large and small, because it is a cost effective way of getting good control. Smaller projects such as Conveyor handling, test rigs, and finishing machinery, we tend to use the Mitsubishi FX range of “Brick” PLC’s. For the larger more complex systems, such as screen printing with fast registration, die-cutting with fast registration and for instance furnace control with large amounts of I/O we use the Q-Series rack mounted system.
